The CFL is proud to host an event featuring a panel discussion of prominent women leaders from across Cook County. During the event, our diverse, all-women panel will discuss the successes and hardships they have encountered in their career, as well as answer questions from the audience.

Chicago Federation of Labor’s Women in Labor Panel Discussion
Wednesday, June 7, 2017
5 p.m. – Networking
5:30 p.m. – Appetizers and panel discussion
Location: IUOE Local 399

As part of this year’s event, we would like to give back to the women across Cook County who are less fortunate than us. We will be collecting new household items or cash donations for the Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC), a local women’s shelter committed to ending domestic violence. Items may include pillows, blankets, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, among others. For the complete list of items to donate, please visit http://www.cawc.org/wishlist/.

We hope you will join us at this free event as we celebrate and fortify women in the labor movement. Organizations are encouraged to send union rank and file members and staff.

RSVP to Elaine Fleck at efleck@chicagolabor.org.
