Chicago's Labor Community Turns Out in Force PDF Print E-mail

Chicago's labor community was out in full force this week, with multiple events drawing several thousand working men and women to each event.

Members of AFSCME rallied with employees of Resurrection Health Care hospitals to support their bid to form a union. (click here for more about AFSCME's rally)

That same day, members of UNITE HERE and other local unions joined hotel workers for a rush-hour march down Michigan Avenue in Chicago to support their efforts to negotiate a fair contract at a number of area hotels. (click here for more about UNITE HERE's march down Michigan Ave.)
