Governor Pat Quinn signed into law a $31 billion package of capital investment to fund infrastructure improvements and put men and women back to work.  It is the state's first comprehensive capital bill to pass in 10 years.

The bill will fund road, bridge and other transportation projects, public school construction and other public works projects over the next five years.  The Governor's Office estimates the bill will support approximately 439,000 jobs in Illinois.
