Workers at the Congress Hotel marked the 6-year anniversary of their strike on Monday, June 15, from 4-6pm. The strike, the longest on-going strike in the country, is over wages and health care benefits workers and their union say are far below the area standard for hotel workers. The workers were joined by their brothers and sisters from across the labor movement, and friends and allies from community groups and religious organizations who support their right to earn fair wages.
