Band-aid postpones CTA doomsday cuts |

600 CTA workers will report to work on Monday after the latest band-aid fix to the Chicago area mass transit funding crisis. Transit officials called off the "doomsday" scenario after a $27 million stopgap was approved by the federal government. Legislators have yet to pass a long-term funding solution for the area's transit system. For more information, click here
