Members of Teamsters Local 726 voted overwhelmingly on Thursday to accept the contract negotiated between the city of Chicago and a coalition of 34 unions.  The deal, reached earlier this summer, covers an unprecedented 10-year span, pays prevailing wage, and creates a labor-management committee to control health care costs.

Teamsters Local 726 is the final coalition member to approve the contract.
